History

The Monteiro Ribas group is a family owned group founded in 1917. It started as a tannery which became a market leader in the 1950’s. In the 1960’s the group started diversifying and expanding its range. The production of vinyl coated fabrics began, along with other products, and the first PU coated fabric was launched in the 1970’s.
